Prior to installation, the app will request the following permissions:

• USB access: necessary to detect the SmartScope
• Filesystem access: to save waveform data
• Network access: for saving and uploading waveform data, as well as for recognizing a SmartScope on the local network
• Microphone access: for audio jack input
• (Dropbox access: required only when opting to upload waveform data to your Dropbox account)

NOTE: If you encounter difficulties installing the app, it might indicate that your device does not support USB On-The-Go functionality, thereby rendering the SmartScope unusable on your device.
